It has been a while since we picked a video game to feature in What’s Up, but since we played this game we wanted to revisit it and go through the mystery again.
Heavy Rain is a new breed of video games that focuses on the story plot and experience rather than mastering a fixed set of controls. Once you start playing the game you will be transported instantly into a movie filled with suspense and mystery to find the Original killer.
What we found fascinating about this title, is the fact that even people sitting next to you watching will get tangled into the plot, putting everyone watching it on his or her toes, this is one of the first games we were asked to keep on playing by side viewers. We even tried playing it in front of five people, who got hooked up instantly, that one of them would look an ask “is this a game? Are you really moving the character?”
Now we don’t want to get into too many details and spoilers, since the game is all about the story, but I will tell you this… four people tried this game, and each one got a totally different ending.
Heavy Rain is one ride that you will remember for a very long time.
The game is definitely worth checking out. If you head to their site and watch the trailer… guess what, that is the in-game graphics.
