HTC is coming back with two new exciting phones, both running the latest version of Google’s android mobile platform, yet pushing the mobile OS to a new exciting level.
The first device is called HTC Legend which is a stylish unibody aluminum phone that boasts a unique design with a smooth, continuous surface, machined from a single aluminum block into a seamless compact frame. To complement its looks, the HTC Legend includes a stunning 3.2 inch, AMOLED HVGA display. The traditional trackball has also been replaced with an optical joystick, surrounded by a narrow button to improve usability without interrupting its unique design.
The second device is called HTC Desire which offers the richest way to visually experience news, friends, photos, favorite places with one of the most advanced displays available on a phone today, HTC Desire is designed with a large 3.7 inch AMOLED WVGA. The HTC Desire is powered by a powerful 1Ghz Snapdragon processor and is Adobe Flash 10.1 ready. As with the HTC Legend, the HTC Desire also includes an optical joystick.
Both devices offer a new experience developed by HTC called HTC Sense which revolves around three fundamental principles, making it personal, staying close to friends and family, and discover new things around you.
HTC Sense includes a widget called HTC Friend Stream that seamlessly aggregates all of your social communication including Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr into one organized flow of updates. It also offers an improved browser, email client, and a newsreader. Both HTC Legend and HTC Desire will be available beginning of 2Q of 2010.
