Meeting entrepreneur Amin A. Jawa, made us curios about three things, the past, the present, and the future.

The Past:

I started my life in Riyadh, where I finished my school, then I moved to the eastern province to finish my bachelors degree in finance.

After that, I had to move to switzerland and then the United States to practice working in the finance and banking sector. While working there I got a wide exposure on how business really works from the inside, since I had to evaluate businesses as a daily job. I discovered that the key to having a successful business is having a good financial and marketing backgrounds, and that’s why I got my second master’s degree in marketing.

I worked in corporate departments in different banks back here in Saudi Arabia, until I reached a point where I had to start my own business with my brother, and since we loved to travel a lot, we enjoyed cafes and restaurants, we always wished we could have the same atmosphere and crowd gathering here in Saudi Arabia.

So we started to do a lot of searching, and with the right type of communications through some contacts I’ve had in Lebanon, who introduced me to a company which had a concept that grabbed my attention. They called it WaterLemon.

The brand wasn’t even in existence back then they were still trying to build up a brand and a concept of a casual-dining restaurant that changes its menu every three months. I fell in love with the idea instantly!

When I finished opening and establishing WaterLemon I thought why shouldn’t I acquire a new brand, and I got Café Blanc in the same way, the same company had a concept of a stylish Lebanese oriental cuisine on paper, I acquired the franchise, and started it.

Once I was done with establishing Café Blanc, I opened Living Colors. That part of my life was a roller coster ride.

The Present:

WaterLemon, is purely a casual-dining restaurant, the best part about it is that our menu changes with each and every season, which delivers a unique refreshing experience every time our customers visit.

Café Blanc is an oriental Lebanese restaurant with style, we tend to satisfy all your senses at once, it is more of an experience, where we would take you to another level to see how the evolution of the usual Lebanese restaurant would be like.

Living Colors, Simply put is fast food meets quality. With this brand we focus on delivering the highest quality at the lowest possible price.

Now we have branches of WaterLemon and Café Blanc in both Riyadh and Jeddah, and we are planning to spread more branches in the near future.

The Future:

We are planning to be the number one in the market when it comes to the food and beverage industry. But we will do that in a totally different way. We will be number one in three things we want to excel in, quality, consistency, and maintaining successful brands.

In other words, we will be number one by maintaining the same high level of quality we laid on the first day we opened our first store.
