Somehow, food always tastes better outdoors. Whether you’re heading to the beach, mountains, meadow or just at your garden, pack up these foods for a fabulous “take-out” meal. Hope you enjoy reading What’s Up recipes.
The Barbe (Bar-B-Q)
400gm Steak (as red as possible)
Full glass of Soya sauce
Half glass of white vinegar
Half glass of squeezed lemon
5 large spoons of ketchup
Pepper & salt as desired
After staring the mixture all together in a bowl, add the stake into it and let it marinate, the longer you leave it the tastier it gets. Lay the stake on the charcoal 5 minutes for each side at first then keep turning it every 2 minutes.
Southern Style Ice-Tea
1 ½ cup water
5 tea bags
2/3 cup sugar (or a little more)
1 glass of ice cubes
½ an apple sliced (eat the rest)
Mint as desired
3 slices of a lemon half (cut the lemon in half then slice it)
Take 1 1/2 cups water and 5 tea bags and boil them. When done boiling, press tea bags gently against sides until you get a darker tea.
Pour tea into a pitcher, holding back tea bags as you pour. Fill with water and add 3/4 cup sugar and stir.
Add the mint, apple & lemon slices. Enjoy!
Sub Sandwiches
1 French baguette bread
2 slices of ice berg lettuce
3 thin slices of parmesan cheese
4 slices of roast beef
Special sauce (3 large spoons of mayonnaise, ½ French mustard)
Cut the bread in half, and spread the mixture of sauce on both side, then lay down the lettuce and spread another layer of sauce
Put evenly slices of the roast beef and top it up with the parmesan cheese
Add tomatoes if desired.
