When you choose makeup to wear, you should consider the shape of your face. You shouldn’t apply makeup  the same way your best girlfriend does, what works for her, might not work for you.

Here are some makeup tips to emphasize on the drop-gorgeous look that is right for you.

Oval Face:

This face shape doesn’t require any special corrective makeup, simply because it is the most balanced shape. Instead you should focus your efforts on showing other features like your eyes, lips, or cheeks.

Shape your eyebrows in a natural arch, and use liner to create a full look to your lips, while blush should be applied in a “C” shape while blending it up to the hairline.

Diamond Face:

Since the diamond shape has a narrow forehead and chin, with wider cheekbones, you should apply a darker foundation to the outside of the cheekbones extending towards the outer corners of the eyes to reduce the width of the cheeks.

After that you can apply a lighter shade of foundation on the chin and the forehead to create an illusion of the width. You can also show a slightly wider eyebrows to add more width to the forehead.

Heart Face:

The heart shaped face has a wide forehead and a narrow chin, you can increase the width of the chin and jawline by using a lighter shade of foundation, and minimize the width of the forehead with a darker shade of foundation.

You should also apply lipstick to the natural lip line, and use a lighter blush to the cheeks, since this will help give you a wider illusion.

Round Face:

In this shape of face you need to add length, you can get that effect by applying a deeper shade of the foundation to the sides, while applying blush on the cheekbones and blending it towards the temple area, doing that will give you narrower cheeks. And to get that extra gorgeous effect, apply the lipstick to the inside of the lip line.

Square Shape:

This face shape has a straight forehead and square jaw, applying a darker shade of foundation on the jawline, temples, and sides of the face will tone down those corners. After that you should apply a lighter blush on the cheeks, to give you a beautiful length to them.

You can also use natural eyebrows which will help soften the face, with a lighter lipstick or lipgloss to attract attention.
